1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website https://www.entrar.in ("Website"), owned and operated by Entrar Edutech LLP ("Entrar", "we", "us", or "our"), a Limited Liability Partnership incorporated under the laws of India.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, please do not access or use the Website.

These Terms are published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 ("IT Act") and the applicable rules made thereunder, as amended from time to time.

2. About Entrar and the Website

Entrar is an educational institution management platform, a brand under the entities Entrar Edutech LLP and Skoodle Learning Private Limited. Both entities operate under a common management structure. All data protection and compliance obligations in respect of the Entrar platform rest with both the entities.

This website is primarily informational. It describes the technology platform services provided by Entrar to educational institutions and provides a means for institutions and other interested parties to contact Entrar. The website may also be visited by parents, students, and educators who have been granted access to Entrar's platform by their education institution, and who may arrive at this website in the course of using or learning about those platforms. Any such access to the platforms themselves is governed entirely by the arrangement between the education institution and Entrar, and not by these Terms.

The Website does not:

• Independently deliver educational platform services, learning management systems, or student or parent applications to individuals visiting this Website;
• Grant access to any platform operated by Entrar directly or independently of the education institution's authorisation. Where students, parents, or educators access such platforms, they do so pursuant to access granted by their education institution, not by virtue of visiting this website;
• Facilitate any transaction or service delivery to individual visitors on its own account; or
• Collect personal data from visitors beyond what is described in the Website Privacy Notice.

All technology services provided by Entrar are delivered to educational institutions under separate written agreements. Those agreements, and not these Terms, govern the rights and obligations of Entrar and each institution in respect of those services.

Nothing contained on this Website shall be construed as creating any contractual relationship between Entrar and any visitor.

3. Understanding Entrar's Role

Visitors to this website, including parents and students, should understand the following about Entrar:

Entrar is a data processor, not a data controller. Entrar provides technology platforms to education institutions and acts solely as a data processor in doing so, operating on the documented instructions of the relevant education institution. The education institution is the data controller and, where applicable, the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA"). Entrar does not independently determine the purpose or means of processing personal data belonging to students, parents, or educators.

Data is collected by the education institution, not by Entrar through this Website. Any personal data relating to students, parents, or educators that may exist within Entrar's systems was collected by the education institution and shared with Entrar pursuant to a written data processing agreement between Entrar and the education institution. Entrar does not collect such data independently, does not use it for its own commercial purposes, and processes it only as instructed by the education institution.

Queries about personal data should be directed to the education institution. If you are a parent or student with questions about how your personal data is being used in connection with your education institution's technology platform, the appropriate point of contact is the education institution itself, as the responsible party for the collection and use of that data. Entrar will cooperate with education institutions in addressing such queries in accordance with its contractual obligations to the education institution.

This Website does not process your personal data. Visiting this Website does not result in Entrar collecting or processing your personal data. For further details, please refer to the Website Privacy Notice published on this Website.

Entrar does not use personal data processed in connection with education institution platforms for its own purposes and acts only on the instructions of the relevant educational institution.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the website solely for lawful, non-commercial, informational purposes, including to learn about Entrar's services and to contact Entrar regarding a potential or existing institutional engagement. Any other use is not permitted.

Without limiting the foregoing, you must not:

• Use the website in any manner that contravenes the IT Act, the Indian Penal Code, 1860, or any other applicable law or regulation;
• Reproduce, publish, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Website without Entrar's prior written consent;
• Use automated tools, bots, spiders, scrapers, or similar means to access or extract content from the website;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers, or any system connected to the website;
• Transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable;
• Introduce any virus, malware, worm, trojan horse, or other harmful or disruptive code or material;
• Interfere with or disrupt the availability, performance, or integrity of the website or its underlying infrastructure; or
• Misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person, institution, or organisation.

The handling of information in connection with the website is described in the Website Privacy Notice, which is published on this website and is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using the website, you confirm that you have read and understood the Website Privacy Notice.

As set out in that notice, Entrar does not collect personal data through this website. Where Entrar holds personal data about students, parents, or educators, it does so exclusively as a data processor acting on the written instructions of the relevant education institution, which is the data controller and Data Fiduciary responsible for that data.

10. Modifications to the Website and These Terms

Entrar reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the website, or any part of it, at any time and without notice. Entrar shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

Entrar also reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Any revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms. You are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed from the remaining Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the IT Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

13. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the IT Act and the Intermediaries Rules, any complaint or grievance relating to the website or these Terms may be submitted to the Grievance Officer whose details are set out below. All complaints will be acknowledged and addressed within the time period prescribed under applicable law.

Parents or students with queries about personal data held in connection with a education institution's platform should contact their education institution directly in the first instance.
